Late-breaking is a category for abstracts with new information with results that were not known
There are limited slots for late-breaking abstract presentations, and a selection process is rigorous. The most highly scored abstracts will be selected for oral presentation onsite at the Congress.
Top-scoring abstracts not chosen for oral presentations will be offered the opportunity to present their work as a poster at the Congress. Please note that only a few of these will be accepted, and that acceptance is contingent upon the presenting author’s completion of financial disclosure by Tuesday, June 17, and registration for the Congress. All other costs, including travel/hotel accommodations and fees, are the responsibility of the presenting author.
The presenting author for the abstract will receive all communications regarding the abstract. The presenting author must be the first or last named author and have an active ASTS/AST membership at the time of abstract submission. In addition, a submission fee is required.
Accepted LBW papers will be published as part of the “HCII 2025 – Late Breaking Papers” Springer LNCS volumes of the Conference Proceedings, and the work will also be indexed in PubMed and other databases. LBWs must meet the same rigorous criteria as full papers and will be reviewed by at least two peer reviewers.
